JAPAN’S 24 HOUR ADVANCE FILLING RULES (AFR)

The Japan Customs is implementing Advance Filling Rules (AFR) on Maritime Cargo Information, effective from 01stMarch 2014. These required a vessel and NVOCC operator to submit cargo informations electronically to Customs at least 24 hours before the vessel departure from the port of loading.
